Seagulls at the beach often drop mussel-sized shells to crack them open, but I saw one carrying a much larger and more ornamental shell and thought it won't get much out of that.  Later on, I found a particularly well-preserved specimen of the same sort of shell and was thinking of taking it home, only to find a big juicy mollusc living inside, so it seems the seagull was right.
