I've observed that a lot of people seem to now have two different usernames, e.g.

Pascal [www.rechenkraft.de]
Pascal [www.rechenkraft.net]

...do you like being in the stats twice; are there two different rechenkraft sites; or is one correct and the other wrong?!

Also AlArenal appears to be in there with and without the [www.rechenkraft.de] suffix.  The name you specify in user.txt will be the name used on the stats, so if you type a different one you'll get another stats account.

I can quite easily merge names together, but I need to know which alternate names people prefer...

Hi Stephen!

I tried to write you an email.  but unfortunately it came back, because of some obscure AOL error.  Maybe your cs.com account does not work anymore (although you provided this email address with your forum profile).  Because the website we few Germans are related with has changed its URL, I guess we all would prefer to be merged to the www.rechenkraft.net accounts.  But as for now I'm speaking for myself only.  wink

Me,too.  Every email returned with a failure.
As AlArenal mentioned, my new user name is "Pascal [www.rechenkraft.net].
I know, you have the problem, if you check the URL, you are redirected to www.rechenkraft.net.
Another question: which of our email accounts does really work?  I have some elder results for 4.04.
Thanks a lot and a nice sunny sunday

Hi Pascal,,,, nice sunny sunday over here too.  I think if you put the older results in to the existing folder and do a manual FTP, they are added, i up loaded a few and it was okay.  You do get a version error but seems okay.  Seeya.. big grin

If you make instant coffee in to a microwave do you go back in time??

OK, transferring everyone over to the "rechenkraft.net" URL...

Nice to have all results on one account.  Would be still a bit nicer to have any results of version 4.11 online.  Or are they already on the way?

There were some repeated ones in yours, which I have now removed.

Repeats again!  I've taken them out now though - should be up a bit later.

(PS.  I don't know why you're producing these repeats because most other people aren't!)

Hi Stephen,
I repeated that, because:

1. I haven't seen several times no results of mine in the stats.
2. Some people say, that I'm sometimes a nervous person, sorry for that.  (And again sorry for the reason of DC, you need time for producing good results)
3. Sometimes I get a good result with a good step further ahead from the previous best result, and I wanna see that in the stats.

Thanks, especially for the updates today, and sorry again for the additional work.
(If I lived not so far away from England - where exactly do you com from?  - I would come along for a Guinness or two..) wink

I've changed your name in the stats, but you will have to change your user.txt file to contain

Donar [www.rechenkraft.net]

...otherwise further results will still be uploaded to the .de name.

Hi Stephen,

once again a problem occured with the Username Homer86 [www.rechenkraft.net]. Once he used the wrong brackets.  Could you please correct this?
I've already posted something on our board, that it won't happen once again.

Thx a lot.

Pascal

I also noticed that he'd used two different kinds of brackets.  It should be fixed in a few minutes.

This is fixed for you, although I've left the other user who didn't use a hyphen where he is, as they all get counted into the team anyway.

That's what I've done, although not to the other guy who hasn't got a dash in his ID.

Hi Stephen, there's anotherone from our team, who's had a wrong name first.
He's coorected his user.txt to

DersaureFritz [www.rechenkraft.net]

The old one was

DersaureFritz [www.rechenkraft.de]

Please put all workunits and particles to the first mentioned name.

Thx a lot.  wink

hi stephen,
i figured out that i am listed three times in the stats:
MaFi [rechenkraft.net] (this is the good one big grin )
MaFi (with some old v4.0x results; i have no idea why it is still there...)
MaFi [rechenkraft.de] (my fault, i misstyped it in the user.txt of my notebook.  sorry!  red face )

it would be kind if you could merge them to one.
thanks

All that merging's been done now.  It's much faster when I use the Windows "find files" tool to display the list of files with your name in their title, because then I can compare the different IDs (across version dirs too) and easily change them.
