[Thread started by GP500] I can't find a clear explanation of this. The install is clear: " install, name there, startup-link" From the read me : "Submitting Results The program does this itself!" But for me it seems like the program never takes on new work (simulation). And is always doing the same simulation and you can manually input results-samples to get better results. For me it's like it's just doing the same work(unit) over and over, to get a better result. And that better result may all ready be done by another. It's seems to be a wast full method, what am i missing!!!

[Thread started by Nilt] I'm trying to get this going on my HTPC box which, while not terribly powerful, can certainly stay powered on crunching for this.Â I would prefer the screensaver mode, though, which doesn't seem to work.Â When i run the .scr file it says I can then run it but previewing says the same and uninstalls the screensaver. Is there a configuration I need to set up or something first? Edited to add: I was able to install it without issues on another Win7 box.Â Both users on each box are administrators.Â I'm a little confused. [Edited by Nilt at 2012-06-19 23:41:34] Edit2: Figured it out. Apparently the first time, UAC wasn't triggered. I'm running it via command line which helps me see where the auto saves and such are. For starters there was no results.txt in my Muon directory even though it said it finished a couple of simulations. I went ahead and created a file called results.txt but it is not being updated when an autosave happens. Also there is no results.dat file either. Please help me understand what I need to do to make this work properly. Thanks, Plomos

[Thread started by [KWSN]Sir Stooper] Just started muon1 and I know little to nothing about command line stuff. I understand I can use it to throttle the cpu, but am having trouble getting there. I also run other DC projects (mostly boinc) and want to run muon1 on only one core (25%). So, I tried running the command prompt from the start menu (Win 7) and tried entering moun1 -?, but get the "'muon1' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." And I've tried the 'muon1_cmdline' bat file in my muon folder, but that only starts the application, can't enter anything. Could somebody give a noob some pointers?

[Thread started by MartinO] [MOS] Team member [MOS]W2KL reports still no rsults from him are showing up, even after now almost 2 weeks of processing.

He uses the muon1_cmdline.bat version of the program and just discovered the message as stated in the subject-line in the programs' output.
Is there a problem with this members' settings, resulting in the stated message? (config.txt look OK to me.)
Could this e the cause for no results having showed up yet for him?
