stephenbrooks.org : Speedy ResultsThread 'Speedy Results' on Suspected Bug Reportshttps://stephenbrooks.org/forum/?thread=889HETTATLONGUNThe commandline version was a little slower.

I've moved to v4.41e and things seem to be back to normal! https://stephenbrooks.org/forum/?thread=889#post7252Fri, 15 Oct 2004 09:28:17 +0000HETTATLONGUNSent the e-mail.

I haven't tried the command-line version. I'll do so as soon as the next result file gets sent. https://stephenbrooks.org/forum/?thread=889#post7181Mon, 11 Oct 2004 19:51:02 +0000Stephen BrooksThat's interesting - it really ought to be the same speed. I did get an error like this once while making v4.41c, but that produced like 1MB of results per MINUTE and was obviously wrong behaviour. If you run this in commandline mode, is there anything unusual about what appears on the screen (cutting off too early, etc.)?

I can't replicate the weird behaviour people have had with v4.41d so far on this computer so you may have to send me an archive of your directory by e-mail...https://stephenbrooks.org/forum/?thread=889#post7168Mon, 11 Oct 2004 05:11:26 +0000HETTATLONGUNThis morning, around 3AM, I moved the sampleresults file, the user file and the sendlog file from v4.41b to v4.41d and fired up muon1_background.exe. Went to sleep.

I awoke at 8AM and connected to the 'Net. Made some coffee and opened the v441d folder. Lo! 280KB of results!

A few minutes later, v4.41d completed another result and sent 284KB of results:

20041009-152122 80 results sent to zeonx.mega-reviews.com

Unusual! Normally, with this rig, v4.41b did around 40KB of results in 5 hours. 100KB of results would take around 12-13 hours to do.

So the question is: "Have you sped up v4.41d?" https://stephenbrooks.org/forum/?thread=889#post7151Sat, 09 Oct 2004 08:42:46 +0000
