Watched The Odyssey at the cinema just now.  In terms of my favourite fantasy/epic films it doesn't quite beat Fellowship of the Ring but it's very good.  My only proviso would be you might not like it if don't you like a lot of loud battles.

<br />Looking at the synopsis of the book, they cut a couple of interesting episodes.  I'd have been up for a two-parter film.
